Current Openings (Effective February 3, 2016)

Treatment Specialist (Wooster):  Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking a Youth Care Specialist, Level 1, to work with youth on our residential campus in Wooster and assist in caring for a group of at-risk, special needs children, ages 6-18, under assigned supervision.  Applicants must be 21 and have high school diploma/GED.  Reference and background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE. 

CQI Assistant - PT (Wooster):  The successful CQI (Continuous Quality Improvement) Assistant must have exceptional Microsoft Excel skills.  CQI Assistant provides support to the CQI Director as needed and otherwise relieves him of minor clerical duties.  Coordinates committee meetings; schedules and maintains visits to satellite offices for director; assists with audit preparations.  Other duties may be assigned as well, such as: 1) Coordinate and possibly chair meetings of Safety Committee, UR Committee, Peer and Case Record Review Committees with CQI Director’s oversight. Prepares agenda, records and distributes minutes, 2) Complete monthly review assignments and research statistics for Case Record Review and Peer Review, 3) Enter, track and disburse client satisfaction surveys, and 4) Assist in COA preparations.  Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Applicants must be 21 and have a high school diplioma/GED, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.  References, background checks and drug screennings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE.

Outpatient Therapist (LISW/LSW/LPC/LPCC, multiple Locations):  Encompass Christian Counseling, a division of CCHO, is seeking Master's Level LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC for Outpatient Therapist at several of our Ohio locations:  Brunswick, Orrville, Lake County and Wooster.  Licensure required (LSW, LISW, LPC) with special consideration given to those who are independently licensed and hold a supervisory designation.  Candidates must be 21 or older to apply.  Master’s degree, strongly preferred.  Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable.  References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE.  Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable.  EOE. 

Clinical Supervisor/Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC-S):  Encompass Christian Counseling, a division of CCHO, is seeking two Licensed Professional Counselors with Supervisory designation; one each for our Ashland and Wooster, Ohio offices.  This position provides out-patient and in-home services as well as supervisory services for agency counselors.  Candidates must be 21 or older to apply and must have, at minimum, a master’s degree in counseling, or related field; LPCC-S licensure required.  Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable.  References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE. 

CPST 1, Children’s Residential Center: Christian Children’s Home of Ohio is seeking a full-time CPST 1 (Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment provider) for its Wooster, OH campus. A CPST 1 directs and assists in caring for a group of at risk, special needs children, ages 6-18, under assigned supervision of the Clinical Supervisor.  Candidates must be 21 or older to apply and must have at minimum a bachelor's degree in a health and human services related field or a bachelor's degree in a non-related field with experience in working with youth in a mental health setting.  Licensed Social Worker preferred (or licensable), valid Ohio driver’s license, must be eligible for CCHO automobile insurance.  References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE.

CPST, Encompass Christian Counseling East (Sebring Location):  Encompass Christian Counseling is seeking a CPST (Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment provider) for its Sebring, OH location.  A CPST provides community psychiatric support treatment services to children, adolescents and their families.  CPST services are focused on the clients’ ability to succeed in the community; to identify and access needed services; and to show improvement in school, work & family as well as family and community integration/contributions.
Licensure (LSW, LISW, LPCC, LPC) required; special consideration given to candidates with Master’s level education. Valid Ohio Driver's license and maintaining a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company.  Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE.
