Current Openings (Effective August 2015)

Treatment Specialist (Wooster):  Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking a Youth Care Specialist, Level 1, to work with youth on our residential campus in Wooster and assist in caring for a group of at-risk, special needs children, ages 6-18, under assigned supervision.  Applicants must be 21 and have high school diploma/GED.  Reference and background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  Download application and submit to employment@ccho.org.

Director of Continuous Quality Improvement (Wooster): Christian Children’s Home of Ohio is seeking a Director of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI), who will be responsible for planning, coordinating and directing the CQI program and managing to outcomes.  CQI Director will ensure the implementation of the established standards placed on this agency by governing bodies which may include organizations such as ODMH, ODJFS, COA, and laws such as HIPAA.  Also assures that agency-wide CQI initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.  Directly supervises the CQI Assistant.  Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work or Business Administration and/or comparable experience required.  Licensed in Counseling or Social Work, Independent Licensing preferred (LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC, PCC, IMFT).  2-5 years experience managing outcomes with an understanding of a managed care environment preferred.  Six Sigma, or equivalent, preferred.  Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable.  References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE.  Download application and submit with resume to employment@ccho.org.

Outpatient Therapist (LISW/LSW/LPC/LPCC, multiple Locations):  Christian Children’s Home of Ohio is seeking Master's Level LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC for Outpatient Therapist at several of our locations:  Brunswick, Orrville, Northampton, Lake County and Wooster.  Applicant must be a licensed social worker with special consideration given to those who are independently licensed and hold a supervisory designation.  Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable.  EOE.  Download application and submit with resume to employment@ccho.org.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Pharmacological:  Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking 2 part-time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for Pharmacological Management for the Children’s Residential Center at our Wooster, Ohio campus – evenings and weekends. Under the guidance of the RN/Pharmacological Nurse, the LPNs will be responsible provide pharmacological and other assistance to our clients in residential care and will provide assistance to the Child Psychiatrist.  This may be through direct care, CPST activities, group or individually.  Experience with children strongly preferred.  Must have LPN with license to practice nursing in the state of Ohio.  Special preference will be given to applicants with nursing experience with children. Minimum three years experience working with youth and their families in a medical setting.  Valid Ohio Driver's license and maintaining a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable with the insurance company.  Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPCC-S), New Beginnings Ashland:  New Beginnings Christian Counseling, a division of CCHO, is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor with Supervisory designation for our Ashland, Ohio office.  This position provides out-patient and in-home services as well as supervisory services for agency counselors.  Candidates must be 21 or older to apply and must have, at minimum, a master’s degree in counseling, or related field; LPCC-S licensure required.  Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable.  References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE.  Please download application and submit with resume to employment@ccho.org.

Art Therapist - Children's Residential Center:  Christian Children's Home of Ohio is seeking an Art Therapist (LSW) for our residential campus to utilize art to improve and enhance the physical, mental and emotional well-being of children and adolescents. Using the creative process involved in artistic self-expression, the art therapist will help clients to resolve conflicts and problems, cope with traumatic events from the past, develop interpersonal skills, manage behavior, reduce stress, increase self-esteem and self-awareness and achieve insight.
Master's degree (M.A.) or equivalent strongly preferred; Licensure (LSW, LISW, LPCC, LPC) required; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Must have valid Ohio Driver’s License and maintain a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable.  References, background checks and drug screenings will be completed on all potential candidates.  EOE.  Please download application and submit with resume to employment@ccho.org.
