Children in foster care are in a time of transistion and change whose families are in crisis. They are a diverse group of African-American, Multi-ethnic, and Caucasian children, including pre-teens and teens. Very few are three years old or younger. Some have disabilities and special needs. Many have brothers and sisters and need to be placed together.
