Challenge Course elements involve interacting and learning with fellow team members in a fun and supportive atmosphere.

Our Philosophy is "Challenge by Choice": participants choose the level to which they are challenged. Greater strides are made when a person breaks a barrier of his/

her own accord rather than under pressure.

We have flexibility to achieve the ideal balance of adventure activities for your growth. Proven elements for success include goal setting, challenge, trust building, problem solving, peak experiences and fun! Applied in proper sequence and measure, the above modes provide a real-life approach to adventure programming and maximum potential for progress, healing, and development.

Poplar Ridge Adventures is certified through Signature Research, Inc.. Each year our program receives an extensive evaluation. This inspection includes course integrity, staff skills, and a records audit. Our curriculum and instruction manual are updated and critiqued as well. You will find our instructors to be compassionate, flexible, and ready to meet your needs.

Facilities include our state-of-the-art Challenge Course, with high and low elements, including the Tango Tower with six sides of climbing, twelve activities, two 40-foot climbing walls and a 300-foot zip line. It is designed for safety, challenge, peak experiences and fun. An 1840's rustic log cabin with a fireplace, wood cook stove and overnight accommodations is available on a first come-first serve basis.
