National City supports Foster Care Recruitment efforts.
National City has responded to the desperate need for foster and adoptive families for children. They granted $20,000 to CCHO to expand their Foster and Adoptive Family Recruitment efforts to meet the growing demand. CCHO often must turn away children refered to us from the welfare system due to a lack of available homes.
New Beginnings at CityHill in Ashland now open!
New Beginnings Counseling Centers has expanded to offer Intensive Home Based Treatment option in Ashland. New Beginnings at CityHill works with families and children, and offers wrap-around services to meet their needs. Child and Adolescent Psychiatry is also now available to any of our clients.
Our-Circle-of-Friends in Sugarcreek home to the newest New Beginnings Counseling Center
New Beginnings is now open in Sugarcreek. CCHO was invited and subsequently opened an office at Circle-of-Friends Ministries in Sugarcreek. Experienced counselor Faith Jones, PCC, LSW, is the primary counselor at the facility.

- CCHO received a Laura B. Frick grant to provide laptops for cottage staff to enable them to continue paperwork as they are with resident children rather than apart in an office. The program is called Laptops for Living. The required hardware and software has been purchased, and installation is in process.
