Anne needs stability, care and a safe place to stay this school year. Your $60 gift by August 19 can be the start of care, connection, safety and education for Anne.

Childhood is a time for consistent and constant love and safety. A kid should be able to trust their family and believe the good things in their lives are there to stay. For kids like Anne, safety and stability were rare. If anything good happened, it was very quickly taken away.

Anne does not know what a stable, safe home looks like. She has been sexually abused by several of her family members. She felt used and unloved and believed no one could be trusted.

With school starting August 19, you can provide Anne and kids like her with a place to stay where their needs come first. Your gift of $60 can give a child a safe and stable place to stay.

Anne suffered not knowing if her abuse would ever stop. Every time she believed she was in a safe and loving home, she was retraumatized by the people she should have been able to trust. Anne believed anything good was temporary. Her life was full of instability and pain. Her needs were not met, and her voice went unheard. Anne didn’t have anyone looking out for her. She felt all alone.

But you can change Anne’s story.

Your $60 donation provides a day of care with consistent safety, shelter, education, connection and therapy for Anne and kids like her. Anne will experience true stability and be able to heal and build healthy, new relationships in a safe and loving environment. You can show Anne that she is loved unconditionally and that good things can last.

Your gift can be the start of care, connection and safety for Anne. It all starts with your gift of $60.

Will you provide Anne with a day of critical care with your gift of $60 today?

Give one child a day of critical care and connection this school year!

Christian Children's Home of Ohio (CCHO) is a local nonprofit organization that has provided opportunities for donors like you to help abused and neglected children for more than 50 years. Based in Wooster, OH and serving all of Ohio – including Wayne County, Summit County, Stark County, Cuyahoga County, Franklin County and the surrounding areas – CCHO is a safe place for kids who have suffered extreme forms of physical abuse, sexual abuse and emotional abuse, as well as survivors of sex trafficking. Initially licensed as a foster care/group home for children, CCHO now has four cottages on its campus that are home to as many as 46 kids, ages 6-18, who have often been abused by parents or other people they trust. During their time with this faith-based charity in Ohio, children learn the tools they need to overcome the trauma they've experienced through various forms of therapeutic approaches (including recreational therapy, music therapy and equine therapy) as well as social, spiritual and educational opportunities designed to aid the child with the healing process, model for them how a healthy family functions, develop coping and life skills, and introduce them to Jesus Christ.
