8-year-old Marcus needs your help. Marcus was removed from his home because it’s not safe for him there. He’s witnessed violence and drug use. He’s experienced neglect. His fear and anger are greater than they have ever been.

You can help Marcus be safe and feel safe for the first time in his life.

With your $60 donation, you can give Marcus a safe place to stay and the critical care he desperately needs!

ABOUT CCHO

Christian Children's Home of Ohio (CCHO) is a local nonprofit organization that has provided opportunities for donors like you to help abused and neglected children for more than 50 years. Based in Wooster, OH and serving all of Ohio – including Wayne County, Summit County, Stark County, Cuyahoga County, Franklin County and the surrounding areas – CCHO is a safe place for kids who have suffered extreme forms of physical abuse, sexual abuse and emotional abuse, as well as survivors of sex trafficking. Initially licensed as a foster care/group home for children, CCHO now has five cottages on its campus that are home to as many as 46 kids, ages 6-17, who have often been abused by parents or other people they trust. During their time with this faith-based charity in Ohio, children learn the tools they need to overcome the trauma they've experienced through various forms of therapeutic approaches (including recreational therapy, art therapy and equine therapy) as well as social, spiritual and educational opportunities designed to aid the child with the healing process, model for them how a healthy family functions, develop coping and life skills, and introduce them to Jesus Christ.

Marcus needs a safe place to live this Easter. With your $60 donation by April 9, you can give him a safe place to stay and the critical care he desperately needs!

Let me tell you more about Marcus and how your gift will give this sweet little boy the safety and love he deserves this Easter.

Marcus has never felt safe in his own home. He doesn’t believe that his life can be better and desperately wants to forget what he’s seen and experienced.

He’s moved many times during his short life. He’s scared and confused about what will happen next. He struggles to stay asleep at night due to nightmares that he will be taken away. He’s desperately searching for safety and acceptance.

This Easter – during this season of renewal – you can give Marcus and kids like him a fresh start. Your $60 donation provides safe shelter, food, therapy and care for Marcus and kids like him.

Marcus struggles with aggression and telling lies. His anger gets the best of him and he constantly gets in trouble at school. His inappropriate behaviors cry out for help. Marcus wonders if anyone will ever love him and why his life has to be so hard.

Your gift by April 9 will give Marcus a chance to finally feel safe and loved after living in fear and loneliness for so long!

You will be helping him process his pain and trauma in a safe place with trusting adults. He’ll learn that he is worthy of love and care. And he’ll obtain the vital skills and support necessary to recover rather than run from his broken past.

Marcus is weary from the trauma. He tries to escape through sports and video games, but he carries the pain with him everywhere he goes. He’s acting out, even to those he cares about, because he can’t manage his feelings or himself anymore.

But you can change his story!

Will you show Marcus the meaning of renewal this Easter by sending your special gift by April 9? Remember: Every $60 you give will provide a night of safety and care for kids in desperate need, like Marcus.

What a powerful way to show a hurting youth the love of Jesus this Easter!

I know you believe Marcus deserves to be safe and feel safe after living in fear for most of his life. That he deserves to be loved unconditionally. That he absolutely deserves a chance to find healing and happiness after all that he’s experienced.

Will you help Marcus with your gift of safety for $60 today?
