Titus needs critial care and a safe place to stay this school year. Your $60 gift by August 21 can be the start of care, connection, safety and education for Titus.

Childhood is a time to feel safe and protected. A kid should be able to trust that the adults in their life will provide them with their needs. For kids like Titus who come from neglectful homes, things like food, education, love and safety were not regularly provided.

Titus does not know what it is like to have an adult who puts his needs above their own. Drugs were his family’s focal point. Titus lived in 6 different homes before he turned seven. This made it impossible for him to get the care, love and education he needed and deserved.

With school starting August 21, you can provide Titus and kids like him with a safe place where their needs come first. Your gift of $60 can give a child a safe and stable place to stay as their summer routine transitions into the school year.

Titus was the victim of sexual abuse and did not receive the care a young boy needs. He was taught that his needs and desires didn’t matter. He was second best to the drugs his family loved more. He felt invisible and unlovable – believing he was unworthy and would never be enough.

Your $60 donation provides a day of care with safe shelter, food, therapy, education, and healthy connection for Titus and kids just like him. Titus will have the opportunity to learn and build healthy, new relationships in a safe and loving environment. You can show Titus that he is loved unconditionally and his needs matter.

Your gift can be the start of care, connection, and safety for Titus. It all starts with your gift of $60.

Will you provide Titus with a day of critical care with your gift of $60 today?

Give one child a day of critical care and connection this school year!

ABOUT CCHO

Christian Children's Home of Ohio (CCHO) is a local nonprofit organization that has provided opportunities for donors like you to help abused and neglected children for more than 50 years. Based in Wooster, OH and serving all of Ohio – including Wayne County, Summit County, Stark County, Cuyahoga County, Franklin County and the surrounding areas – CCHO is a safe place for kids who have suffered extreme forms of physical abuse, sexual abuse and emotional abuse, as well as survivors of sex trafficking. Initially licensed as a foster care/group home for children, CCHO now has five cottages on its campus that are home to as many as 46 kids, ages 6-17, who have often been abused by parents or other people they trust. During their time with this faith-based charity in Ohio, children learn the tools they need to overcome the trauma they've experienced through various forms of therapeutic approaches (including recreational therapy, art therapy and equine therapy) as well as social, spiritual and educational opportunities designed to aid the child with the healing process, model for them how a healthy family functions, develop coping and life skills, and introduce them to Jesus Christ.
