Golfing for kids

Thank you to everyone who has registered for the 26th Annual Caring4Kids Golf Classic benefiting Christian Children’s Home of Ohio! We look forward to seeing you on Monday, August 31 at Hawk’s Nest Golf Club in Creston.

Event Schedule 7:30am Check-in: please allow time to pick up your shirt, buy mulligans, enjoy breakfast, etc. 8:00am Shotgun start Lunch/snacks on the course 5:30pm Dinner

As with most things this year, we have made some adjustments to the golf event to maintain the safety and well-being of all who participate.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, Hawk’s Nest has CLOSED the driving range. Unfortunately, you will NOT be able to warm up on the range as you have in the past.

We will have a basic breakfast station where one of our staff will serve you coffee/orange juice and you can pick up a donut or banana/orange. This station will be set up where we traditionally have our refreshment tent–outside the lower level of the clubhouse.

In each cart, we have supplied a bottle of hand sanitizer for each golfer. If you are among those who are most vulnerable to the Covid-19 virus and wish to have your own cart, one can be provided on a limited basis. Please send your request in advance to franksd@ccho.org.

Please bring a mask with you. If you enter the clubhouse, you will be required to wear one due to state regulations.

Our post-golf steak dinner will be held at the Greystone Event Center located at 50 Riffel Road in Wooster. It’s very easy to get to from the golf course. We will also provide you with a map inside the program the day of the event. Dinner will be served at 5:30pm.

Thanks again for being a part of this day which helps bring healing to children overcoming trauma as they discover their incredible worth!
