Please read the following announcement from our President & CEO regarding the Heart for the Home event.
In response to the latest updates on the Coronavirus, as well as recommendations made by federal and state officials, we have decided to cancel the Heart for the Home event previously scheduled for this Saturday, March 14.
As much as we desire to celebrate all that God is doing here at CCHO and our family of ministries with you and other faithful supporters this weekend, we also desire to be good neighbors and responsible citizens.
God repeatedly reminds us throughout the Bible that, as followers of Christ, we have no reason to fear. Even in this time of confusion and unrest, we hold fast to His encouragement. We did not make this decision lightly. However, exercising an abundance of caution while following sensible precautions provided by the CDC will go a long way toward ensuring the health of our community, particularly those who are most vulnerable to the virus.
We are grateful for the generosity of our auction donors and to honor their gifts, we will be moving our silent auction online. More information to come. We also plan to honor the legacy of our award honorees, Gary Dolan and Orrville Christian Church, in the coming days.
We will communicate this information via phone calls and social media over the next 48 hours to ensure all attendees are notified of the cancellation. Please share these details with any friends or family members for whom you purchased tickets.
REFUND POLICY
Due to the unique circumstances of this situation, we are offering refunds to all attendees who purchased tickets for our event.
However, if you would like your original purchase to be used as a generous one-time donation to CCHO, you must let us know by calling Dan Franks, Director of Development, at 330.345.7949 ext. 2336 no later than Wednesday, March 18.
If you would like to have your original purchase refunded, no response is required at this time and your refund will be automatically processed.
PLEASE NOTE: All refunds will be completed via check, even those originally placed with a credit card. We will begin processing refunds and sending checks out on Friday, March 20.
We appreciate your understanding in this matter. Thank you to all those who were planning to attend Saturday evening. May we each choose to respond to this issue with faithful, expectant prayer.
Your fellow servant, Kevin Hewitt President & CEO
