We lament

Helping people experience their worth in Christ is our organization’s purpose. This happens most often through relationships to help them heal from brokenness and trauma. We lament when individuals are not treated in the way that Christ created them and loved them. This includes lamenting the lives of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery and Breonna Taylor.

We lament for the pain and trauma that people of color have experienced in recent weeks as well as for generations. We are sorrowful for those lives who have been endangered or lost during volatile events across the country this past week.

We are listening with compassion and curiosity. We pray for peace, dialogue and healing. So that all lives can experience their true worth in Christ.

Please join us in lifting up our black friends and neighbors in prayer and value as we seek to love with kindness and selflessness in our thoughts and actions.

“He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” -Micah 6:8
