Kevin Hewitt Receives CORE Administrator of the Year Award

We are proud to announce our President & CEO, Kevin Hewitt, is the recipient of the 2025 Coalition of Residential Excellence (CORE) Administrator of the Year Catherine Hershey Award.

Under Kevin’s leadership, CCHO and our family of ministries has grown from a small “mom and pop shop” into a highly professional organization. Today, CCHO is actively involved in both state and national organizations that advocate for similar programs and foster opportunities for collaboration and shared learning.

Even more importantly, Kevin has intentionally built a culture that reflects our purpose: To Help More People Experience Their Worth in Christ. This purpose extends beyond the clients and families we serve—it includes the staff we have the privilege to serve alongside.

Every organization has a culture, but Kevin’s intentionality has shaped one where people are encouraged to be authentic and grow personally, professionally, and spiritually. He knows each child in our residential program by name and recognizes nearly every staff member—a remarkable reflection of his genuine heart for people, especially within a team of more than 200.
