The Christian Children’s Home of Ohio is thrilled to introduce our new Difference Maker initiative—a program designed to recognize and celebrate the people, businesses, and churches who have made a remarkable impact on CCHO. While we wish we could highlight each of our thousands of generous donors, this initiative will spotlight those whose commitment and influence have shaped our mission in unique and impactful ways. We are honored to begin by recognizing our January 2026 Difference Maker, Mission: Thrift!”

Jeremy Shantz has been part of the Mission: Thrift team for more than six years and currently serves as the manager of their Wooster location. With years of experience in thrift retail—spanning even across state lines—Jeremy has always enjoyed thrifting and connecting with people. He finds deep fulfillment in a career that gives back and truly makes a difference.

Mission: Thrift is a faith-based organization founded by a group of lifelong friends with a shared passion for helping children reach their God-given potential. Every donation, purchase, and volunteer hour at Mission: Thrift is an investment in the next generation—and has an impact on the children served by the Christian Children’s Home of Ohio.

CCHO is honored to be one of the nonprofit organizations that receives ongoing support from Mission: Thrift. Jeremy shared that the partnership felt "God-ordained" as both organizations are faith-based, and Mission: Thrift was actively seeking a charity to support who made a real impact in the lives of children.

Mission: Thrift has faithfully supported CCHO through financial contributions, volunteer involvement at campus events such as the Great Grill Off, and donations of much-needed items like clothing and supplies.

“Every day the staff at CCHO are on the front lines,” Jeremy shared. “I love what you do, and it’s incredible to see the opportunities those kids now have—opportunities they may not have had otherwise. We pray for your staff here at the store for the tough situations and daily challenges you face.”

CCHO is deeply grateful for the generosity, partnership, and heart of Mission Thrift—both for our community and, most importantly, for children from hard places. With the continued support of organizations like Mission: Thrift, CCHO can help more children experience healing and discover their worth in Christ. Congratulations, Mission: Thrift, for being the CCHO January 2026 Difference Maker!
